Today 6 Febuary 2009 I picked up a guy who had just been told he had 2 months left to live.He had been told in November that he had lung cancer. Today was meant to be his first of six chemo sessions, but because of the extent of his illness the chemo sssions have all been cancelled.He was a single parent with three teenage kids.
What struct me as we made our way back to his house on a rundown estate was his brave outlook on the next 2 months that he had left to live. He was laughing and joking with his girlfriend. I was amazed at his bravery.
